This can be used with all new POV and existing POV.1 and POV 1.5 recording systems. This replaces the battery cover and has a coiled 6ft cable exiting from the rear. You can now power the POV from either a car cigarette lighter socket or hard wired direct to a 12v source.
It has a built-in regulator that converts 12v to the 5v required by the POV camera kit.
The POV power kit is fitted with a 1/4" thread in the back.
This is the same thread used by tripods, suction mounts and clamp mounts on this site. Mounting the recorder part of the POV to a car or bike is now possible using this kit and any of the clamp mounts we have available in our store.
